| Grip Rite DeckForce #9 × 2½″ exterior composite screw, T-20, Type-17 “saw tip”, tan (#5334003 · GRDFCS212ACA5) | 5 lb / 371 | $35.13 | Materials — girts and studs to posts, 2 per end driven in opposing directions. 364 needed against 371 in the box — effectively zero margin; a second box is the standing recommendation |
| Grip Rite DeckForce #8 × 1⅝″ exterior wood screw, T-25, Type-17, tan (#5333963 · GRDF158STT5) | 5 lb / 619 | $28.48 | Materials — interior liner to girts and studs (~330) plus the 1x4 door header. Tan chosen over the green SKU because these heads stay visible on the finished interior |
| Titebond II Premium wood glue, 16 fl oz (#41218 · 5004) | 1 | $8.53 | Materials — lap-notch filler blocks. ⚠ Type II is water-resistant, not waterproof: glue to dry PT only, and buy Titebond III for the Phase 5 door builds |

| 1x4x8' premium SPF (#4510) | 2 | $6.34 | Walls — additional temporary brace stock, taking the furring count from 6 to 8. Order 2A carried exactly six, which is exactly what the six-brace layout consumes — zero margin for a split or a miscut. |
| 16d × 3½″ HDG smooth nails, loose (#1944468 · 16D5HDG-R) | 1 box | $21.83 | Framing — the Rule 6 fastener. All toenailing on this build is hand-driven 16d, which raised the requirement from the 1½ lb originally scheduled to ~4–5 lb. This closes that gap. |
| 3″ exterior screws, tan, 1 lb (#5333992 · GRDF3STT1) | 1 | $10.43 | Walls — brace deck blocks into joists (4 per block), plus general temporary fastening |
| Johnson post level, orange (#2240164 · 175-O) | 1 | $7.58 | TOOL — plumbs two faces of a 4x4 at once, hands-free. Used to set all four corner posts Aug 19. |

| 2x4x8' PT #2 SYP Above Ground | 26 | $113.36 | Walls — 7 infill (nailers, headers, window studs, door blocking) + 6 ply seam blocking + 11 interior girts. Plan called 24; +2 spare (Superseded Aug 23 2026 — there is no seam blocking: real panels measure 47.76″ wide, so studs at 48/96 never backed a seam. Same boards, now 66 girt pieces + 8 full-height studs; ~6 more needed.) |
| 2x4x10' PT #2 Prime SYP Above Ground | 1 | $7.69 | Walls — rear gable nailer, cut 113" (120" wall − 3½" corner post each end) |
| 1x4x8' #2 S4S SYP common board (KD) | 1 | $7.59 | Walls — door header, cut 62½" flat under the plate. ¾" thick, not a 2x4 (p.24). Board stock, not a furring strip |
| 4x4x12' PT #2 SYP Ground Contact | 2 | $39.16 | Walls — bearing-wall top plates, 144", half-laps 3½"×1¾", laps up |
| 4x4x10' PT #2 SYP Ground Contact | 2 | $31.16 | Walls — gable top plates, 120", laps down |
| 4x4x8' PT #2 SYP Ground Contact | 10 | $100.70 | Walls — corner/center/door posts ×8 (74") + angle braces ×6 (30" long-point to long-point at 45°) (corrected Aug 25 2026 from ×4 — plans p.26 Fig 2 puts four on the blank bearing wall, two at the corners and two in a V at the center post, plus two on the rear gable. A seventh and eighth brace went in as-built 25–26 Aug on the west NW and SW corners, so one more board is required — six pieces came from these two) |
| 1x4x8' SPF furring strip | 6 | $19.08 | Walls — temporary diagonal bracing (p.25). Stays up until the roof metal is on |
| 1x4x12' PT Appearance SYP Above Ground | 1 | $6.45 | Walls — p.25 twelve-foot spreader. PT substituted for furring — straighter stock for the one piece doing a dimensional job |
| Subtotal | | $325.19 | |
| Truck delivery | | $79.00 | Delivery |
| Tax (8.9% on materials + delivery) | | $35.97 | Reconciles exactly: 404.19 × 8.9% |
| Total billed | | $440.16 | $10.00 MyLowe's Money applied as tender (not a discount — project cost is the full $440.16) |
Against estimate: Order 2A was budgeted at $468 of materials; actual $325.19, −$142.81. The estimate's unit prices were conservative — 2x4x8 PT came in at $4.58 against $7 assumed, 4x4x8 at $10.58 against $16.
⚠ Check the four top plates on arrival. Bearing plates are 144" from 12' boards and gable plates 120" from 10' boards — every one is cut to the full length of its board, with zero trim allowance. A split, forklift-bruised or out-of-square end means a short plate and no recovery. Inspect both ends of all four before the truck leaves.
4x4 posts and plates are Ground Contact (an upgrade — they sit on the deck, not in soil); 2x4 wall stock is Above Ground, which is correct for infill. Phase 3 needs no new fasteners: 3"×.120 HDG collated and loose 16d HDG smooth are both on hand — but count them before Aug 17, and remember the ~75 16d figure covers half-laps and blind-nailing only, not the temporary bracing.

| Klein cable cutter (#5349097 · 63050) | 1 | $28.48 | Tool — the answer to the wire-rope question. Diagonal cutters crush and fray 1/8″ galvanised cable instead of severing it; a shear-type cable cutter leaves a clean end that will still pass through a clamp |
| Nail puller with integrated dimpler, 10″ (#6576708 · 66092) | 1 | $15.18 | Tool — pulling the temporary bracing at Phase 5 and any misdriven 16d; the dimpler sets heads |
| Extra-capacity adjustable wrench, 6″ (#5404491 · O5076) | 1 | $14.23 | Tool — the cable-clamp nuts. The “1/8″” in the clamp’s name is the cable diameter, not a nut size — an adjustable is the right call rather than guessing a socket |

| NDS 3"/4" green round grate | 1 | $6.58 | Drainage — daylight outlet |
| 4" PVC S&D cap | 1 | $3.98 | Drainage — collector upstream end |
| 2" Sch 40 90° sweep ell (gradual bend) | 1 | $7.48 | Conduit — second elbow ✓ pull-friendly |
| 4" × 10' HDPE triple-wall perforated | 1 | $21.28 | Drainage — collector (dry-fit S&D cap/reducer on it before trench day; measure run — start point has slack west of the conduit if the stick is short) |
| ½" #4 rebar × 4' (mis-rung at register as 3/8" #3; verified ½") | 5 | $27.90 | Wall — upper-course pins (~24–30 @ 8–10", ½" holes); believed sufficient to finish |
| Subtotal | | $118.40 | |
| Tax | | $10.54 | |
| Total | | $128.94 | |
